Product Description
The Furuno FI-502-E is a close hauled wind-angle instrument from the FI-50 series, designed for sailing and marine navigation applications. It provides a precise analog indication of wind angle together with digital wind-speed information. The instrument can display apparent and true wind angle and speed, maximum wind speed, Beaufort scale, velocity made good (VMG), and configurable wind-speed and wind-angle alarms. The FI-502 uses NMEA 2000 connectivity and can be integrated with Furuno marine navigation and wind-measurement systems, including the FI-5001 wind transducer. The display is designed for marine environments and has an IP56 waterproof rating.
